9-11-26

“And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: and it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.”
Exodus 14:19-20 

As we stop today and remember 9-11!  A question always comes to my mind when I think about this day! Did God not love us that did? Could God have prevented this from happening? And the questions go on! In our text that we read today, we find the children of Israel in a mess! They left Egypt with a “high hand”, a sign of
Victory just a few days ago. The enemy pursued after them and push them up against the Red Sea with nowhere to go! The enemy at their back and a sea in front of them! Those same questions that we have on 9-11 surely came to them! Does God
Not love them? He can’t stop them? Why? Why? And why? But we see something interesting! God moves from the front of the children to the rear of them! He moves from follow me to “trust me!”
When all This bad happened on 9-11, God
Moved from “follow me to trust me!” Like you and like me, maybe bad things happened in our lives that we don’t like or do not understand! But the Lord speaks again!! “You have been following me… but now… you got to trust me!” Trust Him when we don’t understand! Trust Him when you don’t like it! But TRUST HIM!
