7-29-26

“And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.”
2 Samuel 11:1 

We have all heard the story of David and Bathsheba when David failed miserably! Why did David fail? Was God not watching over him? Did God not care? No! The reason David sinned with the lady was because “he tarried still at Jerusalem!” David was at the wrong place! David was suppose to be in battle but he wasn’t! Being in the right place is very important! Many people can’t understand why God hasn’t blessed them. He is not gonna bless when you’re in the wrong place! Make sure you are praying and asking the Lord for Specifics! Make sure you are not just reading your bible but asking the Lord to help you apply what you have read and studied!  Don’t tarry when you should be battling!
