“But He saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid!”
John 6:20

Many times while on this journey of life that we are traveling, it is easy to get distracted and confused. Often times we face things that cause us much trouble and we wonder where is Jesus in all of this. The text that we read today is this very thing. Jesus sent His disciples ahead on a boat when a “great wind” (storm) came out of nowhere. They because so afraid and confused. Just  then, they look up and it was Jesus. He was walking on the sea coming to them! The words that came from Jesus that day are the same words He wants us to be reminded of when our storms and confusion finds us… “It is I, be NOT afraid!”

The reason we can have confidence and not be afraid is that very fact that Jesus knew where the disciples were and He knew what they were facing and He would not let them face it alone. So today, whatever is before you, remember that He is with you no matter what you are facing!
