7-22-26

1 Corinthians 3:16
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Have you ever thought why the enemy hates you so much? Have you ever wondered why the enemy attacks you so hard? The enemy knows your purpose! What is your purpose you might say? Your purpose is to “house” the Spirit of God! In the Old Testament, the Temple was the place where the presence of God could be found! In the New Testament, just a few years after Jesus was crucified, the Temple (ad 70) was destroyed! So where does the presence of God reside now? In you! You are the temple! You (a believer!) are the vessel in which God choses to rest in and on! This is why, the enemy tries so hard to keep you lost, to attack you and battle with you! It’s really not about you but about keeping the presence of God from showing up in your life! For where HE dwells, the enemy can’t!
Today as you get going, just remember the battle to keep the presence of God away from you! But remember this “Greater is He that’s within you than he that’s within the world!” Be the Temple to day!!!! Let the world see who lives in you!
