“And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
Matthew 14:26-28, 30-31

As you head into another great week, there are a few things that can be helpful!  In our text today, we find the story of a storm, Jesus and Peter walking on the water! The thing I see is this. We may not know right now what we are gonna face this week. It may be calm or it may be ruff! But what helps me in the not knowing is what I do know… Jesus was there for Peter! Jesus responded to Peter and as long as Peter’s eyes were focused on Jesus instead of the storm, the storm was a path to Jesus!

This week, stay focused on Jesus! Have confidence that He is close to you and call on Him … what you are facing just may be your path to Jesus!!
