“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21
Elijah was
Going up against the wicked King Ahab. The people were following and worshipping the false god of Baal. The lord had sent a famine to get the attention of the people but they continued to be hard headed. Elijah meets with them and said “it’s time to decide who you want to follow! If it’s Baal, then follow him but if it’s the Lord, then follow Him!” The people want we remain in the “fence” and did. It was to make a firm decision!
Today, you too have to decide! Are you going to follow the world or will you follow and trust the Lord? You cannot remain silent any longer! Follow the one you serve, but do it openly! Do not hide! The lord has been good to you, today serve Him!
