5-14-26

Luke 5:12-13


12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

There came a man to Jesus who had tons of problems, he was infected and covered with leprosy. In that time, leprosy was the worst thing that could ever happen to a person. It meant death! There was very little help and even less hope! But this man did something that we could learn from, he took what he could not handle to Jesus. He did not care what others thought (he was not suppose to be around crowds due to the spreading of this horrible disease!) He came to Jesus and gave it all to Him. Jesus did something that had not happened to this man is a long time, He touched him! Everyone else ran and was afraid to even be close, but Jesus touched the man and cleansed him!

Today will be a great day for us to take whatever it is that is causing us so much pain and problems straight to Jesus! HE is not afraid of whatever it is! He can handle whatever it is! What will He do? He will make it personal and “Touch” the situation for you! Like the man with leprosy, take it to Jesus!!
