The “Word” of God is our sword to fight with, our strength to keep the fight going and our shield when we are tired! The enemy will keep you from it because he knows the power that flows from it!  Stay in the Word! The Word will lead you through this day and strengthen you for tomorrow’s attacks…. Stay safe and stay the Word!

2 Samuel 23:10

“He arose and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand cleaved unto the sword; and the Lord wrought a great victory that day, and the people returned after him only to despoil”


Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite was one of King David’s three mighty warriors.  The text brings us to a time when Israel was in a huge battle with the Philistines.  Many of Israels soldiers ran and retreated but there was one that dug in deep. The bible says that he clave unto the sword!” Eleazar knew that the  only way to defeat this enemy to not to give up and to hold on to his mighty weapon……. His sword. Elazar defeated the enemy that day because he stayed in the fight! He used his sword and Israel had the victory!


Today no matter what you face, use the weapon the Lord gave you… YOUR SWORD,( your bible!) Stay the course, don’t’ give up mo matter what everyone around you does….. fight for the Lord is on your side!

 Philippians 4:4-7

4-Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.


In this text,  Paul urges believers to rejoice always, explaining that this kind of rejoicing is not dependent on favorable circumstances but is rooted in the unchanging character and nearness of God, with the promise that His peace will guard their hearts and minds.

 Rejoicing is not the same as being happy. Happiness depends on what is happening around you. Rejoicing, as the Scripture describes it, means being satisfied with who God is regardless of what your circumstances look like. That is a profoundly different posture. It means you can stand in the middle of a doctor's bad report, a broken relationship, or an uncertain future and still say, "Because of who You are, I refuse to give the enemy any glory." That kind of praise is not denial of pain. It is defiance against despair. It declares that God is worthy not because of what He has done today, but because of who He has always been!

This week, rejoice not because everything is alright but because the Lord is with you every step of the way! He has you! Nothing will keep Him from being with you this week! Dont be afraid to praise Him before the week begins because HE is worthy on Monday or Friday!

Philippians 4:11-19

1 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

As you head into another weekend, pause and think about how good the Lord has been this week. He brought you through hard times that you thought you couldn’t not even get through and here you are… stop and thank HIM!
 Paul wrote these words from a prison cell, not from a comfortable study. He had learned contentment, and the word learned is important. It was not natural. It was cultivated through seasons of both abundance and deep need. The sermon reminded us that when you look around at the blessings of your life, the right response is not to take credit but to bow in gratitude. God has not promised that every day will be easy. He has promised that He will supply. Not some of what you need. Not most of what you need. Everything you need, according to His riches. That is not a small promise. That is an unshakable foundation.

2 Timothy 1:7-12

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

 Paul declared in this passage that he was not ashamed, and he knew in whom he had believed. That word persuaded carries the weight of a courtroom verdict. Paul had examined the evidence of God's faithfulness across his entire life, and the verdict was settled. He was persuaded. That is exactly the kind of faith we need in the world we are living in. Not a faith that wavers when the headlines are frightening. Not a faith that only shows up on Sunday. A faith that looks at every answered prayer, every open door, every moment of grace, and says, my mind is made up. I will not bow. I will not quit. I will serve the Most High God.

 Daniel 1:8

“ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

 The food that Daniel was being offered had already been used for worship false gods. Daniel refused to eat that food or drink the wine. Instead, Daniel made a stand of courage and strength to trust almighty God and believe that He was more than enough!

Before Daniel ever faced a lion's den, before his three friends ever smelled smoke, there was a quiet, private moment where Daniel made a decision. He purposed in his heart. Nobody applauded him for it. No crowd cheered. It was simply a man and his God, and a resolve that would not be moved. The enemy's strategy has never changed. He attacks the mind first, then the name, then the tongue. He wants to redefine who you are so that you forget who God is. But when the Word of God is planted deep in the heart, no king's decree and no cultural pressure can uproot it.

 Daniel 3:13-18

13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

There were a group of special guys taken out of Jerusalem and taken to Babylonia to serve King Nebuchadnezzar. These young men were the brightest and most special Israel had. They had a bright future ahead of them when this attack happened. The first thing the king did was change their location, their name and them tried to change their god. But these guys were not having it. No matter what, they said they would not bow down and worship a false idol of god even it it meant they would be thrown into a furnace, but they Ould only sever their God, the Great I am!

 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not wait until the flames were roaring to decide where their loyalty stood. Their conviction was settled long before the furnace was heated seven times over. That is the nature of a made-up mind. It does not negotiate with pressure. It does not recalculate when the cost becomes real. The world will always present its golden image and demand your worship. Culture, comfort, and fear will play their music and expect you to bow. But the believer who has purposed in his heart to serve God alone will stand when everyone else falls. Decide now, before the music starts

Have you made up your mind to trust Him today? Have you devised that He is worthy of your worship? Make your mind up today and He will meet you in the middle of your mess! You are loved and YOU have been prayed for! Trent.

Psalm 107:1-2 
“O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”


 The psalmist calls on those whom the Lord has redeemed to say so, declaring that his steadfast love endures forever. This is NOT the time to be silent! As we begin a new week, let’s brag on what the Lord has done and where He brought us from! He has been GOOD!

There is a reason the church is called to declare what God has done. It is not for God's benefit alone. It is for yours and for the person sitting next to you who is barely holding on. When you stand up and say God pulled me from addiction, God healed what the doctors could not explain, God gave me peace on a gurney rolling into surgery, you are not boasting about yourself. You are testifying to a God who is still active, still present, and still moving. Revival does not begin with a preacher. It begins when ordinary people with extraordinary stories stop being silent. If you do not praise him, the rocks will. Do not let a rock take your place.

Psalm 34:4-8 —
“ I  sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”


The psalmist declares that he sought the Lord, who heard him and delivered him from all his fears, and invites others to taste and see that the Lord is good.

There is something extraordinary about the moment you realize that the God who created every star in the universe turned his full attention toward you and heard your specific prayer. Not your grandmother's prayer. Not your pastor's prayer. Your prayer. That is not a small thing. That is the nature of a personal God who is not distant or distracted. The testimonies of ordinary people standing in a church building and declaring "he heard me" are among the most powerful proofs of God's existence available. Faith is not blind. It is built on the accumulated evidence of answered prayers. You sought him. He heard. He answered. That is why you trust him.

 Acts 3:1-10 —
“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him”


 Peter and John encounter a man lame from birth at the temple gate. Peter declares he has no silver or gold but offers what he has: healing in the name of Jesus Christ. The man rises, walks, and enters the temple leaping and praising God.

The man at the Beautiful Gate had been carried to the same place every single day. His expectations were small. He wanted enough to survive until tomorrow. But God had a different plan entirely. What he received was not temporary relief. It was permanent transformation. Notice that Peter did not simply speak healing from a distance. He reached down and took the man by the right hand and lifted him up. Sometimes the miracle and the human hand arrive together. The church is called to be that right hand. When someone around you is down, your willingness to reach toward them may be the very instrument God uses to lift them to their feet.

Today will be a great day to “reach down” and give someone a hand! Don’t just talk about “your” faith, love it out loud by being about it! You are loved this day and YOU have been prayed for ! Trent

Lamentations 3:22-26 — 
 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord


The writer declares that God's mercies are new every morning and that his faithfulness is great, encouraging the soul to hope quietly in the Lord.

Looking back along a winding road can be painful, but it can also be profoundly healing. When you stop long enough to identify the old familiar markers of God's mercy in your past, you discover that you were never as alone as you felt. The testimonies shared in that church service were not coincidences. A spot on a heart that disappeared. A family restored after addiction. A peace that settled in a hospital hallway. These are markers. God leaves them on purpose so that when the next hard stretch of road appears, you have evidence to stand on. You have been blessed beyond your wildest dreams, even when it did not feel that way!

Today, whatever comes your way will first pass His mercies before they get to you! He will be there for you and with you! He will be your strength and your guide. Trust Him and embrace His mercies of this day!

John 14:1-6
 

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.


Jesus comforts his disciples, telling them not to let their hearts be troubled, declaring that he is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through him.

The red letters of Scripture are not merely historical text. They are living words spoken directly to you. When life grows dark and the road feels unbearable, the words of Jesus cut through every shadow with clarity and authority. He did not say He would show you a way. He said He is the way. There is a difference between following a map and following a person. Jesus is not a system or a philosophy. He is a companion who walks beside you. Today, let his words settle into the deepest part of your heart. Let them quiet the noise that the world has piled on top of your peace. His words have not changed through the ages, and they will not change for you today.

Hebrews 12:2
 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 

The writer of Hebrews was writing to some dispirited Christians. These people had left the Jewish faith and way to trust and follow Jesus. What they did not realize was how they would be ostracized by friends and disinherited by family. They were basically outcast all because thy chose to follow Jesus. They were tired and they were about ready to give up everything. The writer of Hebrews is reminding them to “LOOK” to Jesus as their source and strength. When its hard.. Look to Jesus! When they are discouraged… look to Jesus!

As this week is upon us, we too can easily become discouraged! Our eyes are easily focused on those things and bring much grief into our life. But today, I want to remind YOU to Look to Jesus and not on what’s ahead of you! Keep your eyes upon Him and not what’s causing you the trials and troubles this week! He will see you through because He is the “author and the finisher” of our faith! Look to Jesus!

2 Samuel 9:6-13

6 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
7 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
8 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
9 Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
10 Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
11 Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
12 And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
13 So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.


The most staggering detail of Mephibosheth's story is not that the king spared his life. It is that the king gave him a seat at the royal table. He was not placed in a back room with a plate of leftovers. He was brought into the dining hall of the king and treated as family. The same is true of every person who comes to God through Christ. You are not a guest who barely made the list. You are not tolerated at the edges of the kingdom. You are seated at the table. The covenant made on your behalf cost everything, and the invitation it extends is full, permanent, and personal.

Psalm 34:15-22 and 2 Corinthians 4:7-10


 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.


 Mephibosheth did not choose to be crippled. He was dropped by someone else's fear during someone else's panic in the middle of someone else's bad decision. Yet he carried the wound the rest of his life. Many of the deepest wounds people carry were not caused by their own choices. Circumstances, the failures of others, and the cruelty of a broken world leave marks that are real and lasting. But the Scripture reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted and that He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Being broken is not your identity. It is the condition from which God most powerfully demonstrates His grace. Brokenness can lead to blessed when you listen and respond to the right voice! King David called Mephibosheth out of brokenness to a blessed life…… NOW yours awaits you! The Lord is calling… you don’t have to stay broken!

The Covenant That Finds You

 1 Samuel 18:1-4 

 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.
3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

2 Samuel 9:1

 And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?


Mephibosheth did not go looking for the king. The king went looking for him. He was hiding in Lodibar, a place whose very name means no hope, convinced that the king's arrival would mean his destruction. He had accepted the labels the world placed on him and called himself “a dead dog”. But David's first question was not one of judgment. It was one of pursuit. "Is there not yet any left?" God's covenant love operates the same way. It seeks. It finds. It does not wait for you to clean yourself up or find your way out of your own Lodibar. The king sends for you right where you are.

Do not allow your past failure of peoples labels to determine who you are or what you can do with the right source!

The Source of True Courage

1 Samuel 17:32-37

32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
37 David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.


 David did not walk onto the battlefield with greater physical strength than those who stood trembling before Goliath. He walked onto that battlefield with a greater resource. Every soldier in Israel saw the same giant. Every soldier heard the same threats. But only David remembered who had carried him through the wilderness when the lion and the bear came. Fear is not always a character flaw. Sometimes it is simply the result of forgetting what God has already done. Today, before you measure the size of what stands against you, take a moment to remember every giant God has already brought you through.

 What giant in your life are you measuring with your own strength rather than with the faithfulness of God? Do not allow a loud giant you might be facing this week keep you away from you KNOWING that the Lord can and that He is with you and He has you!

The Meaning of the Stones

 Joshua 4:1-7
4 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the Lord spake unto Joshua, saying,
2 Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,
3 And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
4 Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man:
5 And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:
6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

God told Israel to carry twelve stones out of the riverbed -- not as decoration, but as testimony. When children asked what the stones meant, the answer would be a story of God's faithfulness. Every family has stones. A marriage that survived what should have ended it. A child who came back. A diagnosis that reversed. A provision that arrived with no natural explanation. 9-24-26

He Promised You the Other Side

 Mark 4:35-41 and Mark 5:1
35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
5 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.


Jesus said, "Let us pass over to the other side." Not let us try. Not let us see what happens. He declared the destination before the storm ever formed. The disciples panicked over the wind and the waves and missed the most important detail -- Jesus had already spoken their arrival into existence. God does not invite you into a journey only to abandon you in the middle of it. The storm does not have the final word. The promise does. Whatever is raging around you today, go back to what God said. He already declared your other side.

 Is your focus fixed on the storm around you or on the word God has already spoken over your life?
 Find one Scripture promise that speaks directly to your current struggle. Write it on a card, place it somewhere visible, and read it aloud every morning this week as a declaration of faith.

9-23-26

God Goes Before You

 Joshua 3:13-17

 The priests carrying the ark did not wait for the waters to part before stepping forward. They moved first, and then God moved. The presence of God did not trail behind the people -- it led them straight into the middle of what once seemed impossible. Whatever flooded river stands between you and what God has promised, know this: He is already there. He is not waiting at the finish line. He is standing in the middle of your obstacle, holding back everything that would destroy you, calling you to walk through on dry ground. What obstacle are you treating as a barrier when God may already be standing in the middle of it, waiting for you to step forward in faith? He is waiting on YOU in the middle of whatever you’re facing… GO!

Identify one situation in your life where you have stopped moving because the path looks impossible. Write it down and pray specifically over it today, asking God to reveal that He is already present in it

Deuteronomy 8:2-6

“And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him”


God commanded Israel to remember. Not occasionally. Not when it was convenient. Always. The wilderness was not punishment without purpose -- it was a classroom. Every morning the manna appeared. Every night the quail came. Every step of forty years, God provided. And still, standing at the Jordan, they nearly forgot. The human heart has a short memory when it comes to God's faithfulness. We cry out in desperation, God delivers, and within weeks we are fretting over the next obstacle as if He had never shown up before. Remembrance is not nostalgia -- it is an act of faith.

:When did God last answer a prayer in your life in a way that left no doubt it was Him? Have you thanked Him for it recently?  Start a written record of answered prayers. Even if you begin with just one, write it down with the date and the details. Return to it whenever the next obstacle rises. He is still God and He can still move! Today is no match for Him! Trust Him and follow Him.. He has got you and will see you through this day!

Psalm 117:2 

Well, here we go again! Another week ahead of us and a lot of uncertainties surely await us! Let’s start this week off by thanking  the Lord for His kindness He has already blessed us with! Thank Him for His truth that will meet await as this week begins! No matter what we face  this week, we will face it with Him!! Praise Him for this hope and promise, for it is “toward” us!

9-18-26

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14

The psalmist asked the Lord to make his mouth and his heart align with His! Today as we head into this weekend and prepare for Sunday, let’s stop and ask the Lord the same thing!! Make us acceptable in His sight and recognize that our strength is His strength!!

9-17-26

“And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.”
1 Samuel 18:14 

I have a habit! When I start to leave someone or talk to someone, it almost always say “ now you be good!” Don’t really know why.. it’s just a habit! The scripture that we have today says that David “behaved himself wisely!” Now this comes on the back drop of Goliath has fallen to David and many of the woman we’re saying  that David killed more people than Saul the King! It would have been easy for David to get all puffed up and forgot where his real power came from!

For us, we must make sure that we are “behaving wisely!” Simply means, “recognizing our strength and our walk” must come from the Lord! We must ‘“behave” in a way that is pleasing in His sight! Today we can behave wisely when we trust the Lord and follow Him through whatever you are going through!
